So... here's what I was thinking. I really liked the series finale of Star Trek: The Next Generation, and there's not alot you could improve on. Not that it needs improvement. However, I think it would be really cool if they remade the episode, "All Good Things," and re-shot the scenes of them being 25 years in the future. After all, it has been about 25 years since the episode was made, so the original actors can film one last hurrah in real time. Again, there's nothing wrong with the episode, but it would be cool to see! Whenever I see episodes depicting actors how they would look as old folks or 10 years in the future (or 20 years younger for that matter), I always wonder how effectively the makeup people accomplish that. This would accomplish that with no error. They can even create a few added scenes with Counselor Troi, since she is depicted to have been deceased in that episode. I'm not suggesting they re-air the episode either (even though that would be way cool too), just that they release it in the upcoming TNG Season 7 DVD set as an alternate version of that episode. I would love to see Capt. Picard, Cmdr. Riker, Lt. Cmdr. Data, and the whole crew to get together for one last reunion, acting their iconic roles one last time!
