Ok but on a more serious note if you think this is actually going to do anything you're crazy. How would an anonymous petition do anything? It's anonymous and you can put a fake email so one person can create 1000 accounts to sign completely destroying the legitimacy. Even if you demonstrated that literally every single student in TMS wants this change, that wouldn't mean it would happen. Just because students want it is not a good reason for TMS and the BoE to make huge changes. If you legitimately want to see this change, you need to work for it. That means you should do extensive research to produce a well written essay, and then you will have a small chance. Or you could just make another fake petition that will ultimately amount to nothing. The choice is yours. Also hypothetically, if this change does go through it most likely won't affect the 8th graders because it will most likely come into effect next year due to it requiring teacher to make massive changes to their lesson plans and curriculum. Either way it doesn't affect me so I don't really care, but the fact that people are taking this seriously thinking it will have a remote chance of working boggles my mind.
