The residents of Twin Lakes are adamantly opposed to any type of commercial development along Rockaway Rd. Therefore, we hereby oppose the rezoning of residential property [as proposed in the Senoia City Plan, Rockaway Road site] for commercial use. We strongly request that the City of Senoia elect to keep the abovementioned site as residentially zoned green space. We feel that any type of commercial development i.e. gas station, fire or police station, shops, grocery store, etc. would degrade the scenic entrance into our city. Furthermore, it has been identified by city council members that commercial properties in this area could devalue the private properties of Twin Lakes homeowners. All signatures on this petition will be sent to Mayor Robert Belisle on March 31, 2006. A vote on the abovementioned subject will convene in April 2006.
