Everyone I know and that is a lot of people want a Trader Joe's in Riverhead, NY They are just building a huge store for Homegoods in East Hampton.

Perhaps we should protest and stop shopping at TJ and wasting gas. I live in EH and shop mainly at Plainview and am getting sick of the inconvenience. Burlington VT even has one now!

We were customers for years in Commack and Lake Grove, and for the past four years, since moving to the East End, we've been making the 50-mile round-trip regularly to Lake Grove. Costly in time and gas. Lots of neighbors do the same. It's time for Trader Joe's to move closer to us. Plenty of big-box stores and parking in Riverhead, with lots of traffic from the nearby Tanger outlet mall.

I'd be a steady and better customer. I rarely make the 90 minute trip to Lake Grove so most of my TJ shopping is done as time permits when I visit NYC.

I don't know what the problem is with TJ's management. A TJ's on the east end is LONG overdue.

With two small kids it's incredible to walk into a store and being comfortable purchasing anything in it. Driving 45 minutes to an hour is not so incredible and really limits our ability to visit TJ. Please come to the east end!

I live in East Hampton & make the trek to Trader Joe's in Lake Grove at least once monthly (65 miles). I, and so many other residents of East Hampton would love a store in Riverhead. Please consider it!
