Not only are our school's dress code requirement unfair, they are completely sexist towards girls. Many other middle and high schools have been able to get hundreds of signatures on a petition to change their schools' policy. How long are we going to be sent out of class for long periods of time on days where it can get over 95 degrees? All because "boys will be boys" and they'll get "distracted"? This year, we need to stand up these over-sexualized standards.
