As an HBO subscriber through Time Warner Cable, I spoke with Time Warner Cable numerous times in the last 6 months about getting HBOGo. On Jan 12, 2012, Time Warner Cable finally began offering HBOGo to its customers who pay for HBO. Upon hearing the news, I was really looking forward to watching HBOGo on my TV via Roku. However, today I was appalled to discover that Time Warner Cable has blocked access to HBOGo on Roku. After spending an hour speaking with two Time Warner Cable customer support reps (one of whom was a supervisor), I was given the run around. Do you own a Roku streaming device? Do you pay money each month to Time Warner Cable for HBO? If so, you should be angry at Time Warner Cable for prohibiting you from watching HBOGo on your TV through Roku. Verizon FiOS,Charter, Dish, RCN, and Cox all allow their HBO subscribers to watch HBOGo on TV via Roku. Please sign this petition as I hope it will motivate Time Warner Cable into allowing those of us with HBO subscriptions to watch HBOGo on TV through our Roku devices.
