I volunteer on weekends walking dogs and feel these words so strongly! Lima has more needs than this organization has attempted to address and we volunteers do our best to bridge the gaps. It feels more a bureaucratic business than an organization for the welfare of the animals of which the leader is completely unavailable but makes outrageous decisions. Please help these animals get the justice they need!

I believe that the animals deserve better. As an Ohio resident and animal advocate, I am heartbroken & disgusted. It has been like pulling teeth to get simple information on very long term stay Dogs. I had one employee help me get info. I needed, but he is no longer there. Shelters need to be transparent & absolutely should not be ran by egos. It’s a complete disservice to the animals. SAVE THE ANIMALS! You don’t want to turn into what some of the California shelters are & start having protestors and media Surround your shelter JUST for change that seems to be pretty standard of what a “humane society” should be doing

I 100% support this petition. I am a former volunteer (I moved out of the area) however, continued to support as a monthly donor. However, I’m very concerned about what’s going on at the shelter right now!
