I along with hundreds of thousands of other men and women alike am a truck driver. Now, I thoroughly love what I do but the one thing I do not agree with is a log book. I am the driver/ operator of my truck. Why is it that the Department of Transportation puts guidelines on how long I can drive per day as well as per week? If I want to drive all day and all night and am quite capable of doing so, whos to tell me otherwise? I should be able to to drive until Im tired and park my truck, get adequate rest, wake up and go again. I do not like having an organization telling me what I can and cannot do with MY truck. Let me do my job!
