In this day and age we shouldn't need to sign a petition first equal access... it should just be so.

This is of concern to me as a resident who will be looking to have a baby whilst living in the area. Given the size of this interchange, it is mad that hither green does not yet have step free access

If possible access ramps would be much better due to low maintenance costs and less chance of vandalism when compared to elevators

As a parent with a new born it's very hard to use the station as it's all stairs and people don't tend to offer or want to help now days

There are blocked off ramps up to some of the inaccessible platforms.

Hither Green station is a real problem if you have any kind of mobility problem, or are just carrying buggies/heavy luggage. And with Orpington trains varying between platforms 2 and 4, there's no guarantee of being able to come home with step free access. My parents, who struggle with stairs, have started getting off at Lewisham when they come to visit and getting a taxi. It's that bad, they won't risk it.

I take my elderly mum into London on the weekend. The lack of step-free access is making this more and more difficult.

I have a toddler and number 2 arrives soon. The lack of lifts at the station is a serious problem for me as I simply won't be able to travel with two little ones on my own.

We have two children (3 years old and 2 years old). Taking a double buggy up and down the steps on a daily basis is simply impossible at Hither Green station on my own. I have to wait for assistance (often from other passengers), or try and call across to the station office if it is manned. Having accessible platforms would make a significant positive impact to our daily life at this station.

The station is in desperate need for an upgrade. I have ab17monthvoldnand the number of trains missed as I can't accesbplatforms 6, 3, 2 and 1 without assistance is really unacceptable as it make the station very inaccessible. The area is full of young families, please do something about this as it was I believe apparently approved years ago..

Additional access to all platforms is much needed.At busy times the very old staircases (6 and5) are dangerously crowded.Buggy and wheelchair users are severely restricted.Improvements would be so welcome!
