This is a Petition for Mark Garraway "Time To Bring Him Home"
We want Mark Garraway back in society, our lives, and in our community for he is someone to each of us:
A son, a brother, a cousin, an uncle, a father, a husband, a grandfather and a friend.
When he left the community he was a young immature adult in his early twenties with so much room for growth, now he's a grandfather still learning and disseminating lessons back into the community.
After 25 years in prison he has proven to us and himself over the duration that he is more than ready to be released. Some of us have been right there beside him during this entire journey and some of us part of, but all of us equally feel his pain and struggle. We have witnessed so much growth and development, despite his circumstances and we all feel his genuine passion and remorsefulness.
We would be more than grateful and appreciative if you, "The Parole Board", were to release him to us, for we are here to make sure he has shoulders to lean on and arms to hold him up and keep him strong.
With our support and the community around him, he will succeed upon re-entry back into society and our care.

we are almost at the hundred mark and i need everyone to send the link to a few people right now. lets get this moving so we can show the board just how many people are waiting for him.

Mark has proven to me he is remorseful and atoned for the indiscretions taken as a very young person. His reintroduction into society raises no concerns to me and would prove to be a success story in rehabilitation on part of New York State Department of Corrections.
He really need to be home with his daughter and grandkids he has missed so much time outta they life but we all love him to death omg makes me cry behind all this.
I haven't seen my big cousin Andy (Mark) since I was young, and he has served more than enough time to learn from his mistakes, reflect, and grow as an upstanding individual. He needs to be rehabilitated so he can flourish out into the world but most importantly be with his loved ones. ❤️❤️❤️
Mark went into the system because of a mistake he made. We all make mistakes, after being incarcerated for 24 years He (Mark) has had time to repent for his crime. I humbly request that the NY Parole Board grant Marks' release back into society.
Society needs this man home. Of particular importance is the insight that he could offer to the youth, who in this day and time are directionless.
Dear Mark Garraway, you murdered my brother-in-law twenty five years ago. When you took him away from me, you ruined my life. He was my hero. He was amazing man. He beat you in a fight and you pulled out your gun and killed him. You are such a coward and a monster amongst men. I don't care if you think you are a changed man. Because of you, he is gone and we will never get him back. He will never get to meet his grandkids, nephews and nieces. You on the other hand are able to see and talk to your family. I am praying you get the death penalty. Once you're dead, then maybe you can apologize to my brother in law. And maybe then, I can have a smile on my face. Dear Mark Garraway's family, you undermine the universal ethic that states that murder is the ultimate sin while understanding that in protecting your own family member. It disgusts me in how you have worded this petition as if Mark Garraway had only committed a robbery or was caught with drugs with wording such as "immature adult." Now, as I have said before, murder is unforgivable, to word the action of murder as an act of immaturity is appalling. I do understand as Mark Garraway is still alive, your family has never suffered. You see, you have lived though these twenty-five years under the pretense that your family member is alive. On the other hand, my family has actually lost a son, a brother, a cousin, an uncle, a father, a grandfather and a friend. Dear to the people who have signed this petition without actually knowing Mark Garraway, I am sorry that this family has fooled you into signing this petition. They have worded this petition as if Mark Garraway was involved in a robbery or caught with drugs, while in fact that was far from the truth as Mark Garraway committed the atrocious act of murder. He is a cold blooded killer and there is no coming back from that!!!
To marks family, Your pain can be felt and understood, But you still get to see and talk with Mr. Mark Garraway. After 25 years in prision Mr. Mark Garraway use all those years to plan and request an appeal that he was wrongly convicted, that he was in fact inoccent. Bringing the victims family back to court after 25 years later to hear false witnesses from Decatur Ave in the Bronx, lie under oath as well as Mr. Mark Garraway. Then the family had to wait an enite year for the Judge to state his descion which was the appeal was denied. Then shorlty after that court decision Victims services called the family and said Mr. Mark Garraway would like to write a letter to the family to apologize. What? he just brought the family back to court after 25 years and relive the suffering, and had a hearing for several days saying he did not shoot Luis several times point blank range on Decatur Ave in the Bronx. Then feld back down south and was found by a foot patrol police officer and tried to flee on foot but was arrested. I am sure if the table where turned you would not want someone that mudrer you family member to be free. luis that was murder never got to ses his son grow up and get married and have three children as well as his son not having his father, and knows his father was taken off this earth by Mr. Mark Garraway using a gun. How is that fair to the family that never gets Luis back. No words will bring Luis back. You took a life and destroyed many lives , You changed peoples futures and the future for many people including yourself to think it was OK to take a life. You also hurt and destory your own family future. You hurt many many people that will last more than a life time. Even after this time on earth you have to face the only true judge "GOD" and you lied in court in 2018 and set up fasle witnesses. So you did not ever reach out to the family in 25 years, where is your remorse?

I know Mark personally and we can rest assured that Mark would be a productive member of society. After serving more than 25 years he has transitioned from a child to a mature adult with the capability of maintaining employment, and not falling into the pitfalls of crime. He deserves a shot.
