Yesterday as everyone knows the Grand National was ran, I have always been a big fan of the race and like millions of people made my yearly visit to the bookies to place my bet, but this year I could not bring myself to condone or give my blessing to such a ruthless race. Last year TWO HORSES died in the name of the Grand National and safety sanctions WERE meant to be put into place to stop this from happening again, well so much for talks, instead of sitting around drinking, eating and playing mines bigger than yours, perhaps they should of implemented the safety rules and perhaps TWO more lives would not of needlessly be lost. Since 2000 THIRTY THREE horses have died in this out of date barbaric race. The whole idea of horse racing is pleasure and excitement, not misery and heart ache, so lets make some BIG changes to this race and all other stick races, so once again we can enjoy the the sport of kings.
