A lot of petitions are out there trying to change the world. This one is just trying to change your breakfast.

Are you tired of ordering a 'toasted' bagel or English muffin and receiving a piece of soft bread that's barely warm? Sometimes they seem to be in such a rush that the 'toast' is still cold from the fridge. If you ask for it to be double toasted, then it's just burnt around the edges.

This petition is going around to try and get Tim Hortons to start taking the time to make proper toast. WE WANT OUR TOAST BROWN, CRISPY AND HOT!

It's not asking a lot from Canada's favourite breakfast restaurant. The breakfast sandwiches are a staple there. If the speed of the conveyors that toast the bread were turned down then there would be enough time to toast the bread. THE FASTEST FOOD ISN'T THE BEST FOOD. But it doesn't have to slow down production. Staff could still work efficiently while the bread is toasting.

With recent complaints from restaurant owners about corporate cuts, I know it's not just me worried about the food.. Fix this soon or else we might have to find somewhere else to eat every morning.
