As a Senator, John Thune has displayed outstanding leadership by standing strongly against liberal policies like cap and trade and has voted for decreases in government spending. Clearly, he will be able to make the tough decisions that our country will face, despite political pressure from either side.
It is time to take back our country: reduce the deficit, secure our nation's borders, quit apologizing for our actions, shrink the scope of the federal government. It is imperative that we do these things in order to maintain the promise of a better tomorrow that America has always guaranteed.
