Need a fair system and election. Not mass confusion and shady tactics.

I think that this election was handled very poorly...I did not get a card in the mail! It took way too long for the results of a small city. It said internet problems or server problems but I had a very fast internet connection that day...so why only City Hall? Campaign manager calling voters for an at large candidate "racist"...others "ignoramuses" and such all on social media! Yes I believe there should be another independent Municipal Election held for Thunder Bay, On. Thank you!!

there are too many issues that can neither be called coincidence or a series of unfortunate events! An inquiry could clear up the issues, rumours, etc...

my son left the polling station as he did not receive his voting card and was told to fill out this long form, which he did not have time to do .. his driver's license should have sufficed. He voted in the last election federally, so why did he not get his card. My other son's card was sent to our address. He has not lived here in 20 years. Very confusing, something was totally screwed up.

Please investigate why the city clerk Mr. Hamman was involved in placing ballot stations at dubious places. Apparantly coaxing/coercion was carried out in places like the Shelter House. A place where many residents are fed alcohol as part of their program. Its also common knowledge that most residents are no really residents of Thunder Bay.

I was told I under voted, as was my husband. This created a 4 minute delay as the officer explained no only further confused the isse. I finally had to demand to know if my vote would count if I under voted, he said yes and I left. I felt that process directly related to the delays that caused voters to be turned away at the polls at the end of the night after waiting in Lind for an hour in some Caesar.

Its 2014, this should all be done online now... It would be a lot quicker for everyone and I would imagine the younger generations would be more inclined to cast a vote.

the way the whole election process was handled makes the outcome seem suspicious

With lineups at both the ballot desks and the tabulators virtually all day it is hard to believe that the turnout was virtually the same as the previous election.

I think there needs to be some investigation , a recount , maybe even another chance for everyone to vote again ,

Husband and I have owned our home for over 16 years and we did not receive a card and had to register at the polling station.

How is that election workers announce publicly when people under voted. The ballot is meant to be secret in all respects. How is it that the City Clerk John Hannam is involved with cast ballots. particulariy when he and his office was challenged during the election by a candidate. The man counting the votes is in fact himself an election issue? Sounds like a conflict of interest.

I was asked at the polling station when I went to submit my ballot if I was aware that I undervoted. WHY ? Despite the fact that I ensured I was registered to vote online my voter's card was never received. And e,ection night, there just seemed to be something fishy going on with the "network" going down. Very questionable processes indeed !
