Ghada did nothing wrong, and if we perceive that she did indeed do something wrong we will have begun to succumb this free country into the darkness of fear of speech rather than freedom of speech, feat of religion rather than freedom of religion, fear of each other rather than an open and inclusive society. Beware My fellow Canadians of your political decisions.

The only difference between a dictatorship and democracy is how loud are voices can be on fundamental rights.

I Believe we all can say what we feel as long we repeat each other. And that she did. So move on. She did nothing wrong

I left a middle eastern country, immigrated to canada. Canada provided me apportunities as much as freedom, Freedom of speech, i can state my opinion openly and freely. Canada tought me how to accept others. Other ethnics, religions, cultures and beleives. Made me listen and understand others, respect people opinion. Please lets keep such privilage, be an open minded nation, accept the other the way he or she is, take cruticism constructively and improve on. I am a canadian that support freedom of speech and refuse to be boxed and afraid to state my opinion. I oppose any action taken against our freedom.if people can not accept the other opinion we need to help them to beleive in freedom of speech not change our privilages to suite other. I am a proude canadian and refuse to compromise

Free speech is the most fundamental freedom we have. Once gone, society descends into the abyss.

I denounce fear-mongering tactics to scare people from speaking their minds. We should all respect each other and state our opinion without disrespect.

What's this new kind of intellectual terrorism where one cannot express his opinions?

I haven't seen the comments myself but understand that the principal was merely asking a question, not aiming to offend anyone. From what I undertand her question was valid, as described in this petition; if this is the case then I don't think she shoul be punished for exercising her right to freedom of speach.

We have the right to have freedom of speech without others getting offended. Whe we get offended. We don't make a scene or go public

All people that land on this soil should remember that our national anthem says "To Stand Strong and Free" and no one will take this away from us.

We don't need as Canadians custom fit freedom of speech. Our Constitution and our rights doesn't need to be compromised by anyone who try to take advantage of CANADIAN's good heart.

We live in a country that respects every individuals right of speech. People who don't understand this are the problem.
