Threatened Loss of Piedmont Station, U.S. Post Office, Oakland CA 94611

I walk to this post office. Tho my mail comes through the post office at 4900 Shattuck. That is too far to walk from my home on Opal St.

I have been using this Post Office for 38 years and would like to keep using it in the future.

We really need to keep this local post office here in the neighborhood. There are so many people (like senior citizens) without cars to drive farther to another post office. It is a vital institution in this neighborhood.

I use this post office all the time--please work to keep it open.

The post office is a secure place for mail. The parking lot allows me to mail packages. It is very important that this post office remains open.

One of the value added aspects of any neighborhood is a full-service post office within each reach of its residents and its businesses. Removing the post office on 41st is not going to help maintain the viability of our neighborhood.

Please keep this post office open. It serves a lot of people.

Although there is another P.O. branch just about the same distance from where I live, this one is far more convenient for me, as I'm over near it often for my bank, stores, restaurants and my gym.

Too many people use this post office branch on a regular basis. It makes NO sense to remove it unless you are trying to punish us for living here. Please get another plan.

I use this PO everyday it is open for my business. It would be a critical loss to my functioning as a local business. Please do not close.

Piedmont Station is an important part of our community. It's packed every day, there is definitely a need to have a post office in the neighborhood,

This post office is crucial - lines are already out the door at this one and the North Oakland branch as well.

The post office is a vital resource for the Piedmont/Oakland community!

Closing this post office would be an extreme hardship for many in the neighborhood, especially those who are disabled and need a location close to home.

I live in the neighborhood and use this post office often. It is also used by people who work in the area including the many employees st Kaiser Oakland Medical Center. We do NOT need more condo apartments, which would have a bad impact on this community. Piedmont Avenue is a tourist destination because of its charming small town astmospher, which would be damaged by removal of neighborhood services such as the post office. Please preserve the Piedmont shopping district!!!!!
