Thor 2 was CRAP. With the DVD extras announcement we discover to our disgust, that extras are going to be few and miserable.
We need MORE Malekith and MORE Loki!
And for Christ´s sake, REMOVE THAT SHITTY THOR/JANE ROMANCE STUFF!!!!!

The Lord of the Rings franchise boomed and released extended versions of all three films with the same to be expected with The Hobbit trilogy. The Marvel films have been even with these in popularity, if not more so because of the long term plan being put into place with Phase Two happening now. It would benefit all involved if an extended version of Thor: The Dark World would be made available in a Director's Cut edition. I don't have enough money to buy four versions of the same movie to get all the goodies. I know footage exists I want to see because I have seen it floating around on the internet. I am a Loki fan and would love to see the screaming in grief scene because the two seconds (literally) available to see gave even another layer to his character. I want to see him tear the cell apart while so consumed by grief he fails to notice he's hurt himself. I also want to know more about the Dark Elves and their story. They had so much potential to be feared instead of a feeling like a device to get Thor and Loki to work together and wasting Christopher Eccleston's talent. I loved the theatrical release, don't get me wrong, but much more could have been added and made it a more cohesive and entertaining film. No one would have objected to it being 15 to 20 minutes longer. The Alien movie franchise released a set of the four films with both the theatrical and the director's cut for all of them, first on dvd and then on blu-ray. The third movie, which was a total mess and confusing in the theatrical cut, suddenly became understandable and actually quite good once the director put together his own cut. I would like to see that with not only Thor The Dark World but also with the other Marvel films. The fans would be happy, and if you sell it, they will buy it. Everyone is happy, and no one loses. Thank you.

It was kind of a bad movie with some good elements constantly getting cut off for bad comedy. I'd appreciate any effort to salvage it.

Please Marvel, the film was too short. Please reinstate the cut dark elf scenes, Frigga talking to Thor after "visiting" Loki and any extra Loki scenes there may be. The movie would not feel bloated, but as it stand it is too chopped up.

The theater version of TTDW has so many plot holes, it's obvious that much of the story and build-up was sacrificed to get more action and "epic" CGI in. It would be great to see that restored, and it would make the movie so much better.

We love the action in the movie, but we also love plot & character development! There can never be enough, it would be really fantastic if we get to see everything the director had included initially, including the scenes from the trailers!
