Please, please, please. I am frankly shocked at the amazing scenes that were cut because the acting is so top notch and do so much for the development of the characters.

I would love to see all the extra character development myself. That development can help to flesh out characters that have been left wanting a little in the final cut that went to the theatre - you can tell there's more there, and that we're missing a /lot/.

By the Gods of Asgard, I want to see the director's cut of Thor the Dark World. I believe Alan Taylor created a dark personal drama, and I want to see it. I really like his vision. I'd pay again to see the Director's Cut.

I always buy the director's cut of movies I've loved. I want the director's cut, because it tells the story the director wanted to tell if there weren't time constraints, and allow the director to add commentary explaining his thoughts and reasoning behind why he had the actors do certain things in certain scenes, or why one scene was cut and another was included.

Too much footage was shown in the trailers that feels necessary, not the least of which was the villian's ENTIRE STORY ARC. C'mon, guys, we need this.
