I knew there must have been more about Malekith that they left out, and apparently with a bit of research, I turned out to be right. A LOT about Malekith was left out in the Director Cut. Who knew they'd leave out some of the best character development?

2016 and we still want a directors cut of Thor 2 and every Marvel Film thus far. Love these movies and will love them even more without the necessary Hollywood restrictions.

We know that the characters have to have had more character development than what they had. You know, you leaving out scenes to make Loki look like a complete bad guy is only hurting the character, ridding development that builds him. Let us decide what to think thank you very much. Also, a movie doesn't need to be short to be a good one. Interstellar was three hours and Titanic four, both of which good movies. Make it as long as needed to make Thor a non-Gary Stu and Odin to not seem like an ass (pardon the language)

They edit out so many scenes that give you better character development.I don't just want black and white.We're given a clearly very complex character-yes,I mean Loki-and so much of that complexity was edited out.What about Frigga? Odin? I'm sure there is more.Give it back!

For gods sakes give us a Director's Cut! The movie, the cinematography,the actors...We cannot get enough. And contrary to prevailing wisdom, the public is quite willing to know more backstory and see more character development.
