Having slaves does not make our founding fathers less important to this country. We can not whitewash history and hide our mistakes if we wish to learn from those mistakes and ensure they never happen again. Our founding father's were flawed, but we would not have this country without them

Do not erase OUR history. We all must learn from our history so we do not make the same mistakes. No human is perfect and we cannot change circumstances of the past in which our founding forefathers and ancestors lived in.

Michelle, thanks for signing, so far we have stopped the changing of the name, but there are supporters out there who want to change the name to Truth and Justice High School. Keeping the TJ theme.

please don’t change the name. It’s really the only thing I can remember from my younger days. Every time I hear it, it brings back more of my memories. They say I won’t remember much more but I think I can Please don’t change the name

As the administer of more than 50 alumni groups for Thomas Jefferson HS representing more than 2500 alumni. Please, change anything but the name.
