We can't erase all our history, it is ridiculous to be changing everything from the past that has made where we are today

We can't change our history but we have learned from it. Thomas Jefferson was a good man at his time in our United States history.

Keep the name. Don’t erase history, teach about it. This attempt to change the future by canceling the past has to stop.

Leave it as is.
Then teach both sides of Thomas Jefferson the person. Who he was and what he did good and bad. That's how you get everyone to work for the good of our Great Country.

Proud alumna, 1986. If Jefferson had had his way, slavery would have been abolished with the Declaration of Independence. It was the Carolinas who forced the removal of that clause, kicking the can down the road. Jefferson was a towering Enlightenment figure whose language in the Declaration gave us the rationale for addressing racism in the next century, and in the century after that, and now again in the new century. I'm proud to honor his legacy in my alma mater.
