Please see the respect & love we have for our school. Don't let it be another statistic which millennials have made created, regarding our country's history, [whether it be good or bad] and their input has done its best to irradicate things they get their "feelings" hurt about. We know and understand those things which made up Thomas Jefferson and are willing to fight for that name to remain on our school, and our history!!!

You know, if everybody wants to change names like this would put all this effort into something positive. We could all get somewhere together. From the many one.

Every one has a past. There's a skeleton in all of our closets. Changing a name does not change those facts. Thomas Jefferson adorns our school because of the accomplishments. ~Isaac Miller Senior Class President, 1996 Equality Club founding member

I will be attending the new school next year and during middle school and elementary I did track practice and choir performance since elementary. This is a landmark and I do not think the name should be changed!

Additionally: push the radical left out of the district policy making.

The cancel culture and racist hate war that has rose its ugly head this last year has definitely taken it to a whole new level. Removing landmarks and changing school and field names has now taken control and the attention of the "POOR ME" masses. i went to this school was there when we lost our locker bays due to we fought real fights not guns, knives, and threats through a computer screen to others because you feel big all of sudden. If Thomas Jefferson changes its name it will be a disgrace and just another offer of approval for any person out their that might get their feelings hurt or butt hurt for 9x's out of 10 something that had no affect on that said persons life. There are too many of us that attended TJ have memories good and bad such as life but that school is a part of that HISTORY!!! Why are we continuing to erase our selves. Pretty soon besides the fact that honesty will be considered a crime there will be nothing left of us humans (not man or woman, boy or girl, mom or dad) Can't anybody see that they are slowly erasing us! Class of 96 here and I honestly think we are the last generation of hard work, honesty, gangster, take it how you want to attitudes. We went through challenges and lost friends and classmates while there as well. Why can't we band together and cancel the new culture!!! They can't even be considered history yet. This is one of the most irritating and angering subjects ever!!!! OH BTW I can say this because I am NATIVE AMERICAN not white privelege (whatever that is supposed to mean) You get what you work for. Work hard play hard AND biggest lesson that needs learned is mind your own business. Keep your side of the street clean and leave others alone. Because eventually none of us will be counted for anything.

The cancel culture of today, are the problem. History and American history needs to be taught again in schools. Learn from history do not cancel.

Thomas Jefferson wasn't perfect, but he did much good in founding this nation and leading it in the years following the Revolutionary War.
