The Ghana Police Service is an embarrassment to the nation.Its a shame nothing has been done yet to clean the stables.The impunity,the bullying under the cover of the law is real threat to the freedoms guaranteed under the constitution.Stop the madness now!!

The madness MUST indeed stop...and NOW! Too much indiscipline in our society that once pride itself as the cradle of discipline! GHANA MUST WORK AGAIN! I propose that Officer Richard Owusu must not only be sacked but also flogged publicly, to serve as a deterrent to other would-be recalcitrant officers and others in public service. Nonsense!

I wish I knew any similar platform to advance my case as well. My cousin has been in police custody since 3rd January, 2015 up to date. Why? Because the Police have taken bribe, cooked false allegations of murder on the innocent boy. They have tried everything to get us bribe them to no avail. For that matter, the prosecutor will not go to court to clear the charges even when they have finally admitted the boy is not guilty.
On that same issue, someone who is a hardcore criminal, arrested on the 1st of January, 2015, publicly with the following counts:
1. Attempt to escape Police arrest
2. Arrested with unregistered motorbike, even in the night
3. Arrested with fully loaded pump action machine gun
4. Arrested in possession of Police jacket
Interestingly, this criminal's only charge during prosecution was that he was arrested with a registered gun. My goodness, Ghana Police!!!
