Why can't they have a chair? He shouldn't even be the principal imo

Hmmmmm-if it were HIS family member-I am guessing that would make a difference. How can anyone be so crude to say what he said!!!??? Sad sad sad.

100% agree with this. They are still a part of the graduating class and they will always be a part of it.

3 simple chairs. A small gesture of love. They are not forgotten.

The children in our community have dealt with a lot a life being gone too soon! Parents burying children. I cannot believe a petition is what it has came to too have these lives honored!

#theydeserveachair Give these kids the respect in wanting their classmates who have passed away at such a young age to honor them. It's three chairs representing three kids that didn't get the opportunity to live beyond high school.

These were significant tragedies to lose these young people from our community. We need to teach our kids how to grieve, remember and honor those we have lost. I believe having a simple gesture of having 3 chairs for them would be significant. It might help someone struggling to know that every kid matters.

Please put out the chairs for the family and friends. It’s not going to hurt anyone and the good it will do will be an amazing thing.

Unbelievable that this is even an issue. Hang their pictures, leave an open chair. It's a small gesture for their peers and family. They should be remembered!
