If nothing is done, and the villa is left to crumble, I have a feeling that Thelemites in years to come might question the priorities of those in the 20th and early 21stC in not taking the action needed to preserve this site of significance to Current 93 while it was still possible. Apparently the attention given by the OTO and A.'.A.'. to Thelema's written archives has not been carried over into the preservation of the significant sites of Boleskeine and Cephalu. In the case of Boleskeine, which was destroyed by fire last year, it is already too late...
Providing for posterity might not be the most important reason to do things, but those who play the part of custodian generally understand that these actions are not done to benefit themselves in the present. It is for some nebulous future appreciation that may or may not materialise, but should be provided with as much intact source material as possible if it does.

This sacred site needs to be preserved. Generations of thelemites need to see this and take the pilgrimage. Myself included. 93 93/93

I'm no Thelemite, but I regard Crowley as an important historical figure. His dwelling must be preserved.

Aleister Crowley represents everything modern society would rather not be, but also everything that is actually shedding any light on any prospective future for the world of people that we live in. DO WHAT THOU WILT shall be the whole of the law. Love is the law, love under will. Preserving this facility would mean preserving for future generations the legacy and the message of a character who impersonates the Shadow and the identity of our time.
