Throughout the years Cyndi Lauper has released many wonderful singles, and most of the singles had promotional videos. In 1994/95, Epic/Sony Music released Twelve Deadly Cyns....and then some on VHS and later on DVD in 2000. Whilst fans were thrilled to finally have a video collection that they could buy many key videos from Cyndi Lauper’s career where left out.
Many fans source these long lost gems through the internet paying huge amounts of money for bad bootleg copies where profits do not go to Cyndi Lauper, her team or the Sony Music Corporation.
Cyndi Lauper still has a huge fan base all over the world and it is now time for a new music video collection, a complete DVD with all Cyndi Lauper's videos spanning her entire career.
The Cyndi Lauper Music Video DVD Campaign is an effort to have for the very first time ALL of the promotional videos issued to promote Cyndi Lauper’s single releases on a DVD collection.

We hit a real turning point today and the label is starting to notice our collective energy. Now is the time to turn this heat up by tagging Sony Music on Facebook and demanding they release this catalog. Send a direct email to their press office asking when we can expect a complete video collection.

I been waiting years for a proper collection. my vhs tape is completely worn out by now. just give us the dvds already!
Everything Cyndi did in the 80s was pure magic. It is a crime that we cant buy high quality versions of these videos anymore. Sony needs to wake up and release this.

Cyndi Lauper was my absolute favorite artist as a child, and remains so to this day. My very first concert was in 3rd grade - Cyndi Lauper at the Oct '84 Houston Summit show. I dressed in all white for the video! I remember her descending to the stage in a giant barrell. I remember a girl running up on stage to give Cyndi a hug before security pulled her off, thinking "that should be me!" I have continued to love and be inspired by Cyndi 40 years later. "Time After Time" is my husband's and my song. It would be really amazing if Cyndi's music/video catalogue were available to buy so fans could watch them! And - it would be so awesome if you included the Houston Summit show that was filmed but not released. I would buy several copies for myself and friends!
