Whereby TheCRY is a positive event for Canadians which encourages the arts, social responsibility, compassion, faith and intergenerational involvement in shaping Canada in a positive way – and – as TheCRY has been a positive, peaceful, incident free and successful event in other Canadian cities – and – as TheCRY has received positive recognition from the Prime Minister of Canada, many Parliamentarians, regional and local leaders – and – as TheCRY will bring positive economic benefit to the city of Vancouver through global television exposure and tourism… …we, the inhabitants of the metro-Vancouver area and/or Canadian citizens and supporters of TheCRY event hereby request the Vancouver Parks Board grant permission to TheCRY Vancouver to host their August 15th event in a Vancouver city park, preferably Brocton Oval Stanley Park.
