people need to start using their brains...they make their living with tourism but don't preserve what they need for living....

The blatant lack of consideration for this amazing site is horrible. We need to do an adequate scientific evaluation of the marine life, monitor changes and act accordingly. Whilst still meeting tourism needs, entrance to this site must be restricted to snorkelers, not just divers.

This is one of the most prestigious environments of its type anywhere in the world, and lax management of tourism and trash are having a serious negative impact on the entire site. The few businesses which are allowed to operate there are usually very keen to promote the health of the environment and should be allowed to remain, as well as being 'deputised caretakers' of the area, to ensure a success of their future business. I know for a fact that several of the families have been trying to get something like this for a long time, maybe now there is a chance.

I did, but I am sorry to say I do not believe in any kind of petition to be successful. The only way to protect that place to aware people working on place - beduins, dive masters, owners of the restaurant - that soon they will lose their businesses

This is a VERY unique site and needs to be preserved, I visit there a few times a year each year and I have seen the problems escalate. Action is need to preserve this amazing dive site for all future divers.

We did hand in a project (save dahab tigers) to Dahab authorities and to dahab buseness men group but no one care ????
