There are few places that skateboarders have had for so long and many famous skaters have visited. It's rare for a skatepark to be open over 20 years and even rarer for a street or DIY spot to do the same. It is also a rare gem whose terrain encompasses all styles and eras of skateboarding. The Brooklyn Banks represents where we came from.

grew up watching videos of people skating here. nyc would lose a huge part of its soul if they lock us out for good.

This place is literally iconic. You cant just replace history with storage units. Save the banks.
