Few things would please me more than seeing the Avengers 1998 brought back with Jeremiah S. Chechik's full vision realized in a Director's Cut on Blu Ray and digital formats.

I won't necessarily extoll the virtues of The Avengers, because that's always fallen on deaf ears. However, one indisputable fact is that countless films, far worse than The Avengers, have found their way onto swanky, extras-filled dvd & blu-rays over the years, so why hold back on this one when there's certainly an appetite for it.

I'd definately ONLY buy the Blu-ray of it was the Director's Cut. A compete travesty that this film was butchered to pieces upon its release. Jeremiah Chechik should be allowed to come back and cut it HIS way, like so many other directors are getting the chance to do with a lot of the latest Blu-rays.
