The movie is completely disrespectful to our culture
Selling our culture without seeking permission from the people is wrong as this affects an entire nation of Xhosa people and associated tribes. I condemn the movie Inxeba/the wound to the fullest

This movie is disrespecting our tradition that has been kept a secrete for centuries for a reason. For a mere foreigner to come here & buy some Xhosa "Men" with a few pounds/Euros to spit on what we value the most as Xhosa Men is very distasteful and disrespectful. This is one of many African traditions we have managed to preserve after colonialism came and destroyed our way of life, culture and tradition. Ulwaluko is done in private for a reason, by making a movie you are killing it.. Anyone who wants to know about ulwaluko undergoes it, you dont go around telling people who have no business with this rite of passage..Down with this movie!!!
