This is very much disrespectful to the Xhosa Culture as some things like "Isiko lokwaluka" are not allowed to be revealed to anyone. As a young Xhosa woman , this is very uncomfortable and disrespectful for me to watch or even talk about it.

In my opinion this movie is nothing but disrespectful to native cultures. While I understand the aim behind the content, it I should the explicit revelation of the taboo language and activities that occur in that sacred space that dishearten me the most. If movies like these can be permitted then our cultures will all be driven to extinction at an expense of awareness raising.
I also raise questions if the ethical bord that passed the reccording of this film. I don't see how this was allowed to go through as it extorts the vulnerable groups of our society. In the end, this movie should have never been recorded, let alone being published.
