This movie is way out of line! I'm shocked that there are even Xhosa people probably even "man" in the movie who went along with its shooting because of money. Money, really!? You selling us out for money!?

This movie must be banned. This will instil fear in the young boys, this will be the end of our culture. Yes we are curious but asiyifuni. We do not want to watch how a man becomes a man, the knowledge we have is okay nhoba iWrongo le info sinayo so be it. What about our future generations?! Even though I'm not 100% sure but there has been a lot of changes ehlathini, comparing then and now, and that alone is enough damage. Kutheni khona usiko olunesidima kangaka kuthi sekuzothiwa linxeba!? Is it all because of imali lento usiko luzorhuqwa oluhlobo. Ndiyacela nto zakuthi ngokuzithoba Inxeba must not be released. This movie is showing a very sacred cultural practise. The practice is a very sacred and private practice which should not be shown to the whole world. It is very disrespecful movie and an insult to our culture. It will give false information and paint a bad picture about our Xhosa culture.

The trailer clearly shows that its all about the big reveal. It also has a faulse narrative around initiation and sexuality. Initiation is a rite of passage from childhood to adulthood. It has nothing to do with sexual orientation and gays have always been initiated like all of us. Ban it for their big reveal money making scheme and protect the tradition from the false narrative.
