Has anyone done a cost analysis as to savings on PNM bills vs the power the solar panels would contribute.

My understanding is that the purchase of the solar installation will deplete the reserve and require an additional loan. This seems to be a unapproved capital purchase which is being undertaken without the knowledge or approval of the membership. Please stop this purchase until the membership of the coop has been informed of all the details and approved this purchase.

I would like to know the benefit of the project other than a cost savings 13 years from now. How will the bank loan be paid off? Dues increase, assessment? How will the panels effect the view of the neighborhood from the road and for people living near the wetlands?

This is a major expense for the community and no one seems to know anything about it (until the ACC was recently advised of the project). The community needs to be able to meet with the Co_op Board, ask questions, and decide as a community if we wish to move forward.
