I believe our Children have the right to a real graduation. All their hard work needs to be acknowledged, and what better way than feeling the excitement of walking the field once their name is called.

This can be done while practicing social distancing. Admins need to get creative. Even if no parents are allowed, let these students walk. Go online for the spectators.

These seniors have worked hard the past 13 years to look forward to this year. Let them walk atleast!!! None of them went a virtual graduation. Follow the measures it can be done!!

On Thursday Monrovia HS principal was able to get the green light for his 360 seniors to have an in person graduation set for June 3rd. He had a plan in writing and all the protocols written down to follow the guidelines ready to go when he presented them to L.A. County Supervisor Kathryn Barger. This story gives me hope that it’s not to late. Persistence and preparation can go a long way.
A future graduation would be great, but many of our cadets already have ship dates in June. An SEA Graduation is full of wonderful Traditions let’s keep those going for these 48 deserving Cadets.
