Reading this story makes me ill. There are no words that could even begin to describe my anger and disgust for this so-called “sanctuary”. These helpless creatures depend on those people to care for them. I hope this results in criminal prosecution for all those involved in the neglect and mistreatment of these defenceless animals.

I am very saddened to see the maltreatment of the animals at Wishing Well. When I visited the sanctuary 3 years ago, it seemed like a wonderful place, though I did take note of all the unused land. I really hope that the directors recognize they can no longer properly care for the animals due to their debt and find people who can provide loving healthy homes to all the animals.
