5 years I dedicated my life to WWS, & within 5 years more problems have manifested than solutions, to the best of my knowledge this is a direct result of failed leadership. This used to be my place of peace, it started looking quite the opposite after years of expertise being ignored, funds being misappropriated & behavior unbecoming of professionals being enabled. So many crucial things have slipped through the board's fingers. The worst of it is that with proper savy, there could be an immediate & dramatic change, but the current board is unethically resting on their laurels. A dedicated team of volunteers is readily available when the animals are put first, but without that promise from the board we cannot abide. I stand with my WWS family of volunteers & ask the board to please "listen to reason," & resign or rehome, lives are at stake & we've not a moment to lose!

A Board of Directors is supposed to have the organization foremost in their concerns. There is no room for ego, and in this case anything other than 100% commitment has resulted in animal abuse. Resign and get things fixed, or rehome the poor animals. This is not what the word Sanctuary stands for. Shame on you.
