It is a colonia mentality to think those you colonised with your self imposed language to take tests to be allowed to do certain things which will spring board their destinies. It have been proven over times not every one of the countries in the united kingdom is english by native tongue, How dear you ask most africans to take a test in a language they even do way better tham their Uk counterpart? It is saborttage and re colonisation exploitation.

It is unfair. English is our official language since independence day 1960, So please waive IELTS for us Nigerian

This move is commendable, after all we have been taught English language from cradle, why asking for proficiency again.

Not met the requirements twice. Technical error during listening test. Sent complaint and they don't care. English is my first language, I can't imagine what others must be going through. Holding me back from a skilled migration post. I have a degree and taught in English all my life. This is not about your English skills. This is designed to trip you up and play on the desperation of students/clients for financial gain. Transparency at least would give people feedback on what they can improve. Chances are that people lose marks sue to how pedantic IELTS is.

Totally agree. Moreover, in Macedonia there is no option for taking the exam on computer and when Listening part, we hear on big sound speakers and not individual ear headphones. It was 150EUR and from May this year is 200EUR per exam. It will be my 3rd attempt.

You are absolutely right. They are just made way to amass money. The process they follow for speaking and writing is totally biased.

I agree that somehow ielts exam is just too hard knowing that it is a language test, perhaps they could make it more a bit easier and avoid tricky questions... english is a language and not a measure of intelligence...

Kindly make the marking of IELTS more transparent . Stop making it a business. Don't play with the sentiments of students . How can a person score 6.5 when in a previous attempt he has scored 8 in speaking or writing which was just 40 days earlier . Don't make a mockery of it
