This is horrible and ignorant. Education is needed for these people.

This is wrong on so many levels. ‘Squaw’ is offensive to me, my mother, grandmothers, sisters, daughters & First Nations sisters! This racist term has no place in a society that we share. White privilege at its finest.

Completely innapropriate and very DISRESPECTFUL to us indigenous women. The fact that the owner and reps from the brand are repetedly using "squaw" when speaking to indigenous women whom are trying to educate them on the term and origin of the word "squaw", shows that they are already fully aware that this is a derogatory racial term, and are still choosing to continue using the word in a racist way. Not to mention, representing and marketing their products as authentic Native American products, is a direct violation of The Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990.

Should probably change it to "the culturally appropriating white woman". At least it would be accurate.

It is a VERY demeaning word, and she should be ashamed of herself for using it. It sickens me to know that even though thousands of people have told her and explained the reasons why it's a terrible choice, she won't just find a different name.

This person is using my culture for her monetary gain. I do not appreciate her using the word “squaw” in her “business” name and the fact that there is a Navajo women for her main focus point. It’s disgusting. She need to change her name and stop selling native made jewelry that are all fake fake fake!

This is racist hate speech. Just because you didn’t know before you made the name doesn’t excuse you from doing what’s right.
