This business owner should be ashamed. So many Native American women trying to tell her how offensive and hurtful this is and she doesn't care at all. She needs to be educated. People are trying but she's too stubborn and selfish to listen.

The word "squaw" has derogatory connotations, but not for blonde white girls.

Spunk is cum. Squaw is a derogatory name for native women, referring to genitalia once scalped off by colonizers. Disgusting, distasteful name.

I stand with The Spunky Squaw. All you people hating just need to get over yourselves and move on. But no, instead you'll ruin someones livelyhood, their reputation, their family over your fact offense.

Hopeful this resounding message will be heard! Regardless of the woman's original intent, the name is vulgar and unacceptable, which has now been communicated to her. When we know better, we are called to do better!

So rude and unnecessary. Do better.

Come on. Get some education already. If you keep the name it proves you don't care about anything Native, which is what most of us believe about you already. Want to prove us wrong? Then do something about it. Re-branding is a lot cheaper than loss of business....unless you are just selling to the White Only crowd, which everyone also currently suspects.
