Thinking this name is “Ok” is a great example of ignorance coating “white priviledge!”

Not only is your name a form of appropriation, but from the pictures I've seen your clothes are as well. You say you're not racists, but if people are telling you that you are offending them and their race and you don't show you care, that is a racist act.

The name of this business is very demeaning and racist. You can be respectful and change it.

This is no different than calling a woman a worthless wh--- so if she refuses to change it then her business deserves to be boycotted and fail. Hopefully this petition opens her eyes to how people perceive it. This is not acceptable and no one should think it is.

Please consider the emotional harm you are causing many native American people. Regardless of your own views on this. Thank you.

I truly hope that you realize the harm you have done and do everything in your power to rectify that. At the same time, I'm very sorry for the threats you have gotten. That is not an acceptable way to deal with this issue.

Ignorance is no excuse for racism. Responsible and ethical business practice must be monitored. Who’s responsible for that?

So you insist on using this name after learning of and admitting to now knowing its derogatory nature. So you’re listening, but....? While you’re listening though, you should also learn what cultural appropriation is stop doing that too.

Please listen to the Native American women and their allies, it's important for all women that we not continue to do harm to any of us!

The term sq*aw is about the lowest, nastiest, most racist thing anyone could ever call an Indigenous woman or girl. This is not "a new thing"...it has ALWAYS been a terrible word. I am a 79 year old Indigenous mother & grandmother, with a daughter and 3 granddaughters. They were all taught at an early age what it means and why it is so unacceptable to be called one. It breaks my heart to have to say that ALL of us have been called sq*aw...even my precious grand babies. NO Indigenous girl or woman should EVER have to experience this! ENOUGH! This store will either change it's ridiculous racist name and stop stealing our culture, or it will fail miserably. Mess with Indigenous women??? We ARE America!

You have been asked by Indigenous people to change your store’s name. They have attempted to educate you on why the name is offensive and hurtful. Believe them.

Very offensive, racist oppressive name. No one should be allowed to use it as a business name, ever.
