you might win some racist's business but do you ever wonder how many people of good conscience pass on your shop that otherwise might have spent their money there?

Please change the derogatory name.

Pretty arrogant and disgusting how she wouldn't even change it even being told numerous times it was racial. Disgusts me even more how she's making money off of it. I was shopping for groceries yesterday and the teller lady was mentioning to me and the white people behind me how it was racial and disgusting... the people behind me were looking disgusted as well too and can tell they were embarrassed. Hopefully the name changes as you don't want to be known by the company of the racist white women.

the time has come for all slurs to be gone from the public sphere. it's not cool, or edgy. and cultural appropriation sux, do take off the headdress.

Thousands of people are encouraging you to reconsider your very ignorant mistake and be a good person. Do the right thing. Indigenous people have suffered enough without people like you retraumatizing them with appropriation and slurs. If you wish to profit off of death and genocide and the epidemic of violence against indigenous women I don't understand how you could possibly call yourself a 'Godly' person.

I have read many articles and posts about this and I am astounded! I cannot believe that this lady and her family Cannot comprehend all that has been explained to them about how wrong the title of the business is! They keep referring to native Americans as hate groups! You cannot tell a culture what they do or do not believe in! If we find the word squaw offensive, than it is just that, it’s offensive! If she had the word cracker in her title, white men and women would attack her. If she had the n word in her title, than black men and women would attack her! The point is, we can’t tell each other what is offensive to one another! If she had these words in her title, she would be attacked by different so called hate groups! Which aren’t really hate groups, we are all people just trying to point out what we see as offensive and wrong! You are offending everyone not only by your title but by your deliberate way of disregarding the truth! You are offending an entire culture, how can you say you are not offending anyone! With every definition of squaw it does seem to explain it as offensive to Native American women! So I do not understand how your college degree is allowing you to only see one definition of the word! How can you possibly be this dense, I how can such a well rounded woman have such a closed off brain. There are tons and tons of names for your business that you can come up with, why offend so many! Name it something else! Unless you erase all native Americans from planet earth, you are going to continue to receive negativity about your company name! Is it really worth it when you have a world of words and titles at your fingertips! You complain about hate groups and being harassed but you created it all, you caused this! Why should there be any sympathy for you when you did this to yourself! You may not change the name of your company but when you continue to receive messages from people that are only defending themselves, just remember that you had

Why use a derogatory term on top of appropriating? Be original and stay in your lane

Getting schooled for real can bring up deep fragility which is why the shop owner lashes out in anger which is a cover up for sadness. However, getting schooled for real is necessary for healing deep wounds oppression and genocide has caused by the hands of settlers. It is time to work on healing in every day we can. Show your respect the voices of the people whose land you call your own. Show your respect for the women who are trying to wake you up. Finally, show some respect for yourself that you have the capacity to expand your mind beyond your own ass. The world is waking up out of this deep hypnosis. Wake up and become a conscious human being. You will thank yourself for it.

Change the name, and take a diversity 101 course - it's much less expensive financially, ethically and spiritually. Your response to the criticism was appalling and I know you can do better. Step up into your adulthood with dignity and honor; apologize without qualifications for your ignorance, your lack of researching the name first, and the added offense of your defensive and reprehensible replies to the legitimate outrage your store name incited. Your apology should be clean, leave out things like 'I'm not a racist' and commit to educating yourself about this issue for the future.

They are straight out racist and their work is packed with horrid appropriation of our cultures, and racism.
