As a mother of an Indigneous girl, I am incensenced at the use of sq** in your business name. There is a pandemic of murdered and missing Indigenous girls and women happening today. This term is degrogatory and insulting to all Indigenous girls and women. I hope you educate yourself on your privilege and investigate what this word actually means. God speed.

I’ve let this owner know that her business name is vile and hateful but it appears that the already numerous complaints she’s received have done little to impact her moral standing. We all have to speak up until she is forced to change. This word is itself a form of violence.

This name is flat up racist, inconsiderate and demeaning not just to indigenous women but to all women who deserve dignity and peace in how we are named and treated.
