Racism is not okay. The fact that this female thinks its okay to put native women down is insane. How is this still going on? This is 2018 why is racism towards natives seeming to be the only accepted racism. This site would be been shut down if it were any other race. This female (and I say female because she clearly has not earned the title woman as she is putting women down) should be ashamed.

It is not okay to exoticize Native American women for profit. Doing this with a racial slur is even worse. Making mistakes is human, but please learn from your mistake and change the name. Representation matters. Words matter.

I firmly believe that this name should be changed because it is a racist term. She knowingly used it anyway. She's made several attempts to justify her actions which are nothing more than shameful.

The comment, "There is absolutely no derogatory meaning in the word 'sq--w,' was like a relavation she has no empathy or compassion. She had me understanding what kind of person she was right from the start; thinking she could speak for those who have been belittled, and what has been passed down with that same mindset, in this way.
Sometimes you pause, and be mindful before you speak.
