The name used, has a derogatory meaning. Sure the origin of the word may be used differently, but 90% of the time it is seen at a derogatory, racist slur towards native american/indigenous women.

This company shows no couth or empathy against our Native American friends. They must change their name to make it right.

As a white women, she doesn’t not get to determine what is racist/offensive towards Native Women. The article she shared in defence of the slur was written by a white man. How would you feel if a business was called “Spunk N*****”? Also, I love how she though the word spunky was like the word “funky”, but spunk literally means stinky cum. So good job being racist and managing to sexualize Native Women.

Why would you want to demonstrate your ignorance so publicly? Daresay you would be offended if someone made reference to you by use of the 'c***' word! It is difficult to comprehend why you would persist in using such an overtly racist term that is extremely derogatory and demeaning toward Native American women.

Your business name is racist. You've been told by Native community members that you are wrong. From a fellow white girl, accept it and do better.

As a white woman, I stand with Native American women against this business name. This word is a slur, not something cute to put on a business name.

Your company name is very harmful to Indigenous women! It is racist, derogatory and shameful on you to promote such a disgusting term used to minimize the beauty of Indigenous people!

You should change your name to something less offensive, something that better represents your American western themed (not Native) products. Squaw is a slur that is thrown out at Native women, who face real abuses every day. Spunk is a "dirty" word in some regions. This is a really gross name for a company run by women. You can do better than this, I'm sure.
