Funny thing is the owner of the boutique is firm with her biased beliefs she thinks cause sqaw is in the dictionary it’s okay to call native woman sqaw that the termm they use against us to oppress us and dehumanize is as native woman. It’s degrading and belittling if anything the term needs to be exterminated from the dictionary along with other racial slurs that are considered okay by racist.

If they educated themselves they would know Squaw refers to Native woman who were kidnapped from Native communities and (raped) forced to have sex with men outside of her community, beaten or even killed of she didn't do as she was told.

When you’re in a position of privelege, you don’t get to decide what is and isn’t offensive.
You need to sit back, take the criticism and change accordingly.
