The word "squaw" is derogatory and does not represent Native American Women in a positive fashion. Since fashion is what's being sold on this website, please consider using another phrase to highlight Native American influence of the pieces that are advertised. "Indigenous", "Native", and "Beautiful" are acceptable terms to a Native Lady. Thank you.

I don't know what's worse - her attempts at playing the victim or her steadfast adherence to there not being a negative connotation. The decision is not hers to make, especially as a non-native.

The name is a derogatory term for indigenous people in North America. And I would deem it offencive and inappropriate for youth.

Hey, girl! Get yourself a new name. How about "Shake your booty?" or Spunky Punky? Now that's cute. But your vibe is racist.

Racist. Offensive. Ignorant. The name has to be changed. The website has to be changed. That Brooke Adams’ messed up way of thinking and stubborn resistance to correct the situation is unacceptable and infuriating!

If you're not Indigenous, you don't get to tell Indigenous people what is or is not offensive. How dare you, you should change your name immediately and offer some reparations to an ORG run by Indigenous women.
