The name of this pathetic attempt at a store is the most racist, offensive, culturally insensitive & hurtful thing I have witnessed in recent years. SQUAW is a racial & sexual slur against 1st Nations / Indigenous women. So to have an entitled white girl, with no Native background or connection, use this as her store name...is beyond offensive and is NOT to be tolerated. This is hate speech and racism. The store owner has been very rude and abusive towards all us Native women and men who have tried to educate her on why this is simply not an acceptable name for a store. She and her "models" are now attacking us Natives online calling us an ignorant "squaw gang", and they DO mean it in a derogatory way. Brooke Loren Adams first says she did not mean "squaw" as on offensive word, then turns around and attacks us, mocking us, with the SAME WORD. This store and this racist Brooke Loren Adams do not belong on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social media platform. Enough is Enough. #IdleNoMore

I find this store name ignorant and intolerant of what is appropriate for today. The store is on the wrong side of history and their clothes look like trash. I’ve worked in fashion for over ten years and the name is wrong and their items look cheap.
