I am not a member of a hate group. I am, however a member of the Little Shell Chippewa Tribe.
The S-word, has never been acceptable.
In the 1930s a drunk white man in the streets of Malta Montana propositioned my great auntie & called her the S-word. My grandfather was there. He brutally beat the man and served a year in the State prison for his actions. As a young child in the 1970s when this story was once recounted my grandfather said he would take the same action that very day if the same situation arose.
In the 1990s a movement was introduced & a bill was passed to remove the S-word from any landmarks, creeks, roads, mountains etc in the State of Montana.
My husband served on the committee to rename those places in our state labeled with that despariging word,
If the entire State of Montana can recognize the need for the removal of this name, certainly you, now with a better education regarding its hateful connotations can also change.
Out respect to my mother, my sisters, my daughters and granddaughters please do the right thing.
Aho!

This Texas based business violates the Indian Arts and Crafts Act by falsely associating merchandise with the Navajo Nation, a Native American Tribe in the Southwest United States. These violations are federal crimes against the Navajo Nation. This Act is in place to preserve the integrity of the arts of indigenous people.

Shame! Educate yourself on Native American matters before you misuse a derogatery term for your business. Your business name is racist and respectless and a sign of your own stupidity, or in best case, ignorance.
Horrible. Disgusting.
