Situational Awareness is a gift. I do believe the proprietor needs to rethink their choice of name. Language shapes your world, and using a racial epithet as part of a business name is not cute, not clever, not edgy. It’s thoughtless and ignorant and wrong. If you continue in the same vein, after being made aware of errors and offenses? The consequences are your own. I say this knowing full well that someday I may be called out for my mistakes. I pray for the strength to directly confront my errors when I make them.

You may have not considered the use of the word carefully when you chose it. Native Americans have told you it is offensive; you don't get to decide that it is not. Please don't pass up the chance to do the right thing. Funky and unique is in the eye of the beholder.. so is racist and vulgar.
